Useful tips to help make your
storage easy and efficient.

Write down an inventory list and keep in a separate safe location
Protect your valuables with packing materials, towels, and moving blankets
Place items that you may need to access often in the front
Don’t store any food, perishables, toxins, or flammables
Label all boxes, make lists of what's in them, and even take photos. It will make your search easier when you urgently need something
Fill empty spaces in boxes with packing paper
Put lighter boxes on top of heavier ones. Use uniform size boxes for easy stacking
Declutter before packing
Choose clear storage bins if you will need easy access before unpacking

Disassemble the furniture
Furniture with drawers can be utilized as additional storage places for items
Label all the parts and take photos to remember how to assemble them back together
Put hardware in bags and label them too
Wrap all parts to protect from scratches
Secure the furniture inside the storage containers
Load furniture vertically to save space

Keep clothes on hangers and group with zip ties;
Pack either in garment bags, wardrobe boxes, or upside-down garbage bags;
Put smaller clothing in drawers;
Take pictures of connections beforehand
Label all cords and store them together with the appliances (preferably in the original boxes)
